The 2017 Annual Congress of the Nigerian Academy of Education holds at the University of Benin, 6^th to 10^th November.

The Congress Theme is : “Educating Children in difficult Circumstances in Nigeria”.  The sub-themes are:-

1. Educating children in circumstances of economic depression and poverty
2. Educating children amidst the challenges of insecurity in the country
3. Educating Nigerian children in the face of societal and Cultural limitations
4. Educating Nigerian children in locationally difficult circumstances
