Academy Journal

Journal of the Nigerian Academy of Education (JONAED) is the official journal of the Academy and it publishes articles that make original contributions to the general issues in education with emphasis on well researched/empirical studies, and with a view to promoting excellence in Nigerian education.

The journal also publishes review articles that present the state of the art of broad or specific areas of education as well as position papers and /or proposals on contemporary educational issues.

JONAED is published twice a year, in May and November. Contributors to the journal are advised to send an e-copy of each of their manuscripts typed on one side of A4 paper, double- spaced, with ample margins, and not more than 15 pages in length and saved using New Times Roman font size 12 in Microsoft Word.
