The Academy set up a Book Development Committee in November 2012 to undertake the publishing of books under its Book Development Project for Colleges of Education and university undergraduates reading for first degrees in education. Current Members of the Committee are: Prof. U M O Ivowi, Chairman; Prof. T A Bolarin, Member; Prof. G C Ilogu, Member; and Prof. Mrs. G C Offorma. The books of the Project are:
